Lisa

Lisa started blogging as a hobby in April 2008.  She is blessed to be a stay-at-home mom and considers herself an imperfect homemaker.  She enjoys the opportunity to write and the friends she has made in the blogosphere.  She blogs about many subjects, including yummy recipes, mainly at Stop and Smell the Chocolates.  Lisa is honored to be a part of the Pennies and Blessings team and looks forward to bringing you some great recipes and kitchen tips!

Denise

Denise is a Northwest mom, living with her sweet husband and three busy boys. She stays energized renovating the family’s old farmhouse, homeschooling, and writing on her blog, at Denise In Bloom. With a passion to inspire women in their hearts and homes, Denise loves to offer practical homemaking tips, healthy delicious recipes, and home decorating ideas that anyone can do. Most of all her heart’s compass is set to find beauty in the everyday moments, breathe a little deeper amidst the busy, and bloom wherever God has planted her.

Leslie

Leslie is a stay-at-home mom of 21 years to two daughters, and has been wife and encourager to Mark for 22 years. She is a Certified Interior Decorator (CID), Professional Home Stager and Organizer, with a former career as a reception and events coordinator. Since 2000, Leslie has also maintained an on-line retail business, which specializes in linens and home accessories.

Getting into agonizing debt, not once, but twice, motivated Leslie to fill her “tool bag” with many invaluable makeover ideas and budget design solutions. She and her family now live debt-free and pay cash for everything. Leslie says she “loves turning ugly and unwanted things into beautiful ones: for this is what Jesus’ love did to me”.

Sidnie

Sidnie is the wife of a Soldier and momma to two rambunctious boys. She calls Germany home, but part of her heart will always be in the South. When she’s not chasing her boys, writing letters to her deployed husband, and navigating narrow German streets, she can be found writing at Green Enough for Me or chatting on Twitter. She enjoys sharing the real and raw moments of her every day and hopes to leave you awed at life and family. She’d love to share a glass of sweet tea with you and tell you a story while y’all watch the grass grow…

Phoebe

In 2007, after discovering they were close to $40,000 in debt, Phoebe and her husband decided things needed to change. She found it her mission to find every single penny in their budget, and Get Freedom from the lender. Resources are slim in their rural area, so she’s had to get creative!

Through their debt freedom journey, they’ve found that not only are they living the unconventional life, but loving it! Phoebe shares her joys of gardening, canning, cooking from scratch, and crafting on her blog, Getting Freedom.

Sara

As a former kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mom, Sara has embraced her new role as mother to a toddler boy.  She has learned more about God’s grace and provision in the past 3 years as her family has transitioned from two full-time salaries to counting every penny and cutting coupons.

Away from Pennies and Blessings, you can find Sara in the Happy Brown House crafting, baking, and finding the joy in the journey of motherhood. She is also a monthly contributor for Totally Tots and The M.O.B. Society. Most nights Sara is burning the midnight oil sewing for her Etsy shop, Stitches By Sara to raise funds for their upcoming adoption from Ethiopia or networking on Twitter or Facebook.
