While thoroughly enjoying our family time at the beach last weekend, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful scenery around me. Not the fancy water park, although that was impressive… Not the huge condo complexes all around us, although we certainly enjoyed the luxuries they provided…
But the scenery that caught my eye was not one that man could have built.
Even with five children laughing and splashing in the pool in front of me during a late evening swim, the beauty above spoke out so much louder than any of their noise!
This is an unedited picture, I promise! Doesn’t it just take your breath away?! Staring up at the moon that night, I felt this amazing peace sweep over me. The God Who created the Heavens in all of their glory is watching over me. He can paint such a magnificent evening scene and yet I somehow still doubt or question His ability to care for me. How foolish of me.
All I have to do is see the moonlight… and trust its Creator.

Amazing reminder! That same beautiful full moon helped me to stay awake and find my way home Sunday night after our fun weekend.
